Package: ork

SSH-based server automation in Go — Ansible-style nodes, groups, skills, and playbooks.

Package: ork

Ork is a Go package for SSH-based server automation — think Ansible, but in Go. Define Nodes (remote servers), organize them into Groups, and run commands, skills, or playbooks against them via an Inventory.

go get github.com/dracory/ork

Or install the CLI:

go install github.com/dracory/ork/cmd/ork@latest

Features

  • Fluent API for one-off shell commands on remote nodes over SSH.
  • Skills — reusable, idempotent automation tasks (check-then-run pattern).
  • Playbooks — complex orchestration written in Go.
  • Dry-run mode to preview changes without executing.
  • Privilege escalation via sudo.
  • Built-in vault for secrets (AES-256-GCM + Argon2id).
